📋 IMPORTANT: This version is built for Revit 2026 only. If you need this plugin for a different version of Revit, please contact us to request a compatible version.
Downloading from Google Drive
You have two options for downloading the files:
- Click the download button above to open Google Drive
- Click the three dots (â‹®) at the top right
- Select “Download all”
- Google Drive will create a ZIP file
- Right-click the downloaded ZIP → Extract All
- You’ll have a “SmartTagger1.0” folder with everything inside
- Click the download button above to open Google Drive
- Create a new folder on your computer called “SmartTagger1.0”
- Download each file:
- Download “pkg.json” file
- Download the README file
- For the “bin” folder: Create a “bin” folder inside SmartTagger1.0, then download the DLL file into it
- Final structure: SmartTagger1.0 folder containing pkg.json, README, and a bin folder with the DLL inside
Installation Instructions
Make sure Revit 2026 and Dynamo are completely closed before installing.
You need to navigate to:
Note: If you have a different Dynamo version (e.g., 3.4, 3.6), that’s fine – just use your version number instead of 3.5
METHOD A – Copy/Paste the Address (FASTEST):
- Open File Explorer (Windows Key + E)
- Click in the address bar at the top
- Copy and paste this exactly:
%AppData%\Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\3.5\packages
(Change 3.5 to your Dynamo version if different) - Press Enter
Note: If the “packages” folder doesn’t exist, create it by right-clicking in the 3.5 folder → New → Folder → name it “packages”
METHOD B – Manual Navigation Using %AppData%:
- Open File Explorer (Windows Key + E)
- Click in the address bar at the top
- Type:
%AppData% - Press Enter
- Navigate through folders:
- → Open “Dynamo” folder
- → Open “Dynamo Revit” folder
- → Open “3.5” folder (or your Dynamo version)
- → Open “packages” folder (create it if it doesn’t exist)
Now that you’re in the packages folder, copy the ENTIRE “SmartTagger1.0” folder from the downloaded package:
- Select the entire “SmartTagger1.0” folder
- Right-click → Copy (or press Ctrl+C)
- Paste into the packages folder (Ctrl+V)
- Open Revit 2026
- Open any project
- Go to Manage tab → Click “Dynamo”
- When Dynamo opens, click “New” to start a blank script
- In the library panel on the left, search for “SmartTagger”
- Click “SmartTagger”
The Smart Tagger window will open!
